Simple Schedule
Effective 27 September 2026 (revised the same day: calendar display and editing, location suggestions)
The short version. Simple Schedule has no account system and no server. Your templates and schedule are stored on your iPhone. Nothing is collected about you, nothing is sold, and nothing is used for advertising. The only place your schedule goes is the calendar on your iPhone that you choose to publish it to.
Everything below is stored on your iPhone, in the app's own storage area. It is not uploaded to Arosemena Apps, and there is no service to upload it to.
| Information | Why the app has it |
|---|---|
| Templates you create: name, times, location, notes, color, alert | So you can place them on your schedule |
| The days you schedule | Your monthly schedule |
| Which calendar events Simple Schedule created, the calendar you publish to, and the calendars you chose to show | So it can update or remove its own events without creating duplicates, and show the right calendars |
| Small preferences, such as the last month you viewed | So the app opens where you left it |
Simple Schedule asks for Calendar access only when you first publish a schedule or set up calendars in Settings. With it, the app:
Your calendar events are read on your iPhone only. They are not copied into Simple Schedule's storage, and nothing from your calendars is sent anywhere by the app.
Calendars from Google, Exchange, and other accounts are the ones you have added to your iPhone in Settings. Those accounts sync the events on their own, under their own terms. Simple Schedule never sees your passwords for them and never contacts those services directly.
Calendar access is optional. Without it, your schedule still works in the app, and you can export a month as an .ics file and put it wherever you like.
When you type a location for a template, Simple Schedule suggests addresses and places using Apple Maps. What you type is sent to Apple to find matches, under Apple's privacy policy; it is not sent to Arosemena Apps.
Location access is optional and off until you tap Show Places Near Me. If you allow it, your approximate location is used on your iPhone, only to show nearby places first. It is not saved and not sent anywhere by Simple Schedule. Declining changes nothing else, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings.
Nothing, except the calendar events you publish, the location text you type (looked up with Apple Maps, as described above), and any .ics file you choose to share. There are no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting that transmits your content, and no remote configuration. The app contains no third-party code.
Optional tips are processed by Apple through the App Store. Arosemena Apps receives no payment details. Tips unlock nothing, and the app does not record whether you have tipped.
Simple Schedule's data is included in your iPhone's normal backup, whether that is iCloud or a computer. Those backups are managed by Apple under Apple's terms, not by this app.
Deleting the app removes its data from your iPhone. Calendar events it published stay in your calendar until you delete them. You can remove them first by erasing the days in Simple Schedule and tapping Update Calendar.
Simple Schedule is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it, and the previous version stays in this site's history on GitHub.
