Simple Aisle
Email ArosemenaApps@gmail.com. Telling me which device and which iOS version you are on usually saves a round trip.
Checking the circle means you bought it: it's saved to your purchase history, with the store and time, and moves to the store's Purchased section. Removing an item (swipe left, or touch and hold) just takes it off the list without recording a purchase.
Settings → Household → Invite Someone, then send the invitation by Messages, Mail, or any other way. The other person needs an Apple Account signed in to iCloud and Simple Aisle installed; they tap the link and your household appears. Everyone sees the same stores, lists, and purchase history.
Yes. When you add something that's already on another list, Simple Aisle asks whether to add it here too or move it here. After you buy it at one store, it offers to take it off the other list as well. You don't have to decide right away.
Once you've bought something on a few different days, Simple Aisle knows roughly how often you buy it. When that much time has passed, it shows up under Suggested. Frequently Purchased shows what you buy most, whether or not it's due. Nothing is ever added for you.
Tap the item and choose a different category. Simple Aisle remembers that choice for your household and won't change it again. You can rename, recolor, and reorder categories in Settings → Categories & Colors. Their order is the order your lists are grouped in.
Open the item (tap its name) and tap Last Purchased or any date under History. You can change the date, or delete the purchase. Delete and Put Back also returns it to that store's list.
In a shared household, touch and hold a store you created and choose Make Private. Its list and purchase history move to your own iCloud and disappear for everyone else. To share it again, go to Settings → Stores, find it under Private, and swipe right.
Touch and hold the store and choose Hide Store. It's hidden only for you; everyone else still sees it. Bring it back from Settings → Stores → Hidden.
Yes. In Add Item, touch and hold the result and choose Add as Another Category, then pick Frozen. Or open the item and change its category; if it already has purchases, choose Track Separately. Each one then has its own history and statistics.
Touch and hold the store and choose Edit Name, Color & Icon, or tap the store in Settings → Stores. Categories can have icons too: Settings → Categories & Colors.
Names appear only in a shared household, and only on items added with a recent version of the app. If someone's name is missing, they can set it in Settings → Household → Your Name.
When someone in your shared household adds items, Simple Aisle can let you know, for example "Isabel added Milk to the store." Turn it on or off in Settings → Household. They arrive when iOS lets the app check iCloud: right away if you've used the app recently, sometimes later if you haven't.
Tap Redo (the arrow next to Undo). On iPad with a keyboard, ⌘Z undoes and ⇧⌘Z redoes.
Make sure both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud, and that Simple Aisle is allowed to use iCloud (Settings → your name → iCloud). Then open Simple Aisle on both. Changes sync through iCloud, usually within a few seconds when the app is open.
